Alpicool LGT50 Flexible Dual Zone Portable Car Fridge

I recently had the pleasure of using the Alpicool LGT50 12V portable car fridge on my first camping trip, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. This fridge deserves a solid 5-star rating for its outstanding performance and convenience.

No more ice. Worked great with 300 watt battery pack and 100 watt folding solar.

I purchased this in December 2022 and so far, I have used this for two camping trips, and it has exceeded my expectations. To not have to worry about purchasing ice nor emptying the melted ice water afterwards is a game changer! If I want ice for my drinks, I fill a small jug with ice from home and keep it in the freezer compartment and it is perfect. It's pretty heavy when filled so I load it into my van empty then fill it up. It's pretty quiet so you can sleep and the small light it emits is good for a nightlight. The only thing that I would say needs improving is the handle. It is too short so you can't pull it behind you, it is easier if you walk next to it. Even then you have to walk slow. I'm hoping it lasts a long time!

The most glaring design shortcoming is that, while the unit's heavy weight is concentrated on one end of the unit, the pulling handle is place on that end and you have to lift the most of the unit's weight when pulling it; most braindead engineering.

I purchased the Alpicool T50 Dual Temperature Control fridge/freezer for my husband for Christmas, we used it right away for a road trip so it was nice to give it a go so soon after purchasing. The App is great, we were able to monitor the temperature. I was able to bring all frozen food on the way out of town and on the way back we utilized the half fridge / half freezer option with the included divider. The Freezer is on the right closest to the temperature read out side which is a smaller section with the bump out. The larger section to the left is the fridge side when utilizing dual temperature controls.Worked absolutely wonderful, easy to use, intuitive and the app was a great bonus.
